Emergency V-E-T . . . sigh
This morning we woke up to find my face all swollen.
My Beans panicked and took me to the emergency V-E-T, who thinks that I am having an allergic reaction to something (Dad thinks a spider bit me). So I got a shot and my Cat Couch hydrated me again (argh - she did it last night, too!).
The medicine makes me really thirsty ... and hungry, too. Dad served me breakfast in bed!
And he's staying home today to make sure that I'm okay. Unfortunately, he's going to call our regular V-E-T when she gets in at 8:00 so that I can get checked again later today.

Chatham, you're supposed to eat the spiders, not let them bite you. I had a spider bite on my face once too and I swolled up like that. No fun. I hope you are feeling better soon. Purrs.
Oh no Chatham, we is so sorry you has to keep going to the v-e-t and getting stabbed and such. We is purraying that efurryfing will be ok and your nice Meezer face won't be swollen anymore.
Chatham, we sincerely hope that you're feeling better and don't have to visit the vet too much.

We are furry sorry that you keep havin' to get stabbed and stuff. We are purrayin' that it worked though and that you're feelin' better soon. Breakfast in bed is nice, too bad you haves to get a swollen face to get it, though!

Spider bites are nasty. That could be what done it. Momma swells up when she eats peanuts or peanut butter by mistake without knowing it. Her throat & lips & tongue swell & it makes an emergency. Get better soon.
